Catamaran Archipell II

Archipell I and II Catamarans: These sister catamarans offer comfortable accommodations, spacious social areas, good service and well-trained guides – all surprisingly great values for the money.
The Archipell catamarans’ superior designs offer extra stability when cruising the Galapagos Islands. In addition, these are considered trendsetting “eco-catamarans” due to their being partly powered by solar energy.
The Archipell catamarans each have space enough to host 16 passengers comfortably in their eight (8) “exterior” cabins – meaning all have ocean views. Each of these cabins are air-conditioned and have private bathrooms with hot water. Half of the cabins have double beds and the other half twin beds, in addition to night tables and closets.

The social areas on each Archipell craft include spacious dining rooms, well-supplied bars, DVD players, board games, a library and a conference area with a TV for briefings about the on-shore excursions planned for the following days.
You can work on your tan while kicking back in comfortable chairs or lying out in “sunbeds” on the sun deck, just as you can take in the sea breezes or the skies full of stars from the observation platform.
Other on-board features include e-mail access, a safe, an ice machine, water filtering machines and an ecological ventilation system. What’s more, snorkeling equipment, beach towels and sea kayaks are available for no additional cost.

Begin every day with a casual buffet breakfast that will include fresh fruit, exotic juices, eggs, bacon, toasts, coffee, milk and a variety of cereals. For lunch you can enjoy a buffet of crispy salads, vegetables, meat and fish – all prepared in a healthy and creative way. Similarly, with your evening dinner you will be delighted by the creamy soups, ceviche, shellfish roasted on the grill, salads, roasted potato dishes and other savory creations of the Ecuadorian and international culinary arts.

Each of the well-qualified 11-member Archipell crews include multi-lingual National Park-authorized naturalist guides who will lead you on excursions onto the Galapagos Islands following the itineraries outlined below.
