Yacht Isabela II

The Galapagos Islands are special, so if you want a special yacht in which to explore this “living laboratory of evolution,” then the glass-bottomed Isabela II is right for you. The Isabela II promises complete immersion in this unique world that is the Galapagos Islands.
The first-class Isabela II accommodates 40 guests in 20 outside cabins plus an owner’s suite – all spacious and having their own private bathrooms and air-conditioning.
With its three public decks, the Isabela II is capable of offering the amenities of a larger ship, including a bar-lounge, a fitness room, a dining room, a state room, a library with a large selection of reference books on Galapagos and Ecuador, and a sun deck.
On the Isabela II’s sun deck there is a bar with ample outdoor seating, a sunbathing area, an observation area for whale and dolphin watching, a Jacuzzi and a solarium.

The Isabela II motor vessel offers enriching wildlife encounters, whether amid the islands’ haunting volcanic landscapes or beneath the waves of its marine reserve, all in the company of passionate, dedicated and expert naturalist guides. The Galapagos Islands’ marine life can be appreciated in the water with a snorkel and mask, paddling a sea kayak or even by peering through the hull of the vessel’s glass-bottom floor.
The Expedition Team consists of three class III naturalist guides. All will delight guests with diverse natural history explanations, superb on-deck talks, and eye-catching lectures regarding Galapagos natural history issues. Their multimedia presentations and recaps will complement the day’s activities. They are masters of information on the Galapagos Islands, so soon enough they promise to become the highlight of your voyage. At night, when pitch-dark starry skies are seen, they can lead the Isabela II’s amazing nocturnal stargazing activites, as the southern skies are beautifully arranged with exuberant constellations.

This Galapagos sailing crew has remained virtually unchanged for years. With their dedication, attention to detail and passion for service makes every one of the Isabela II’s guests feel right at home.
