As a legally constituted company Caribe Viajes y Congresos Cía. Ltda. It is committed to providing the best customer service with our customers, in offering you the widest variety of trips in Ecuador, for this reason we present below our TERMS AND POLICIES of our services in a timely manner.

Our rates include:

EXCURSIONS: Accommodation in hotels of different categories according to your choice, includes continental breakfast and taxes.
All our programs and / or services include the assistance of local multilingual guides.
TRANSFERS: Assisted by local guides on all national or international arrival flights. Luggage service with a maximum of 2 standard pieces and one carry-on bag per passenger.
TRANSPORTATION: Private cars: From 1 to 3 passengers. Vans: 4 to 9 passengers. Minibuses: from 10 to 22 passengers. Luxury Pullman buses: for groups 23 to more passengers.
FOOD: Meals are included according to the chosen program, and these are mentioned in their description.

Our rates do not include:
Air tickets, airport taxes, drinks, laundry, phone calls, tips, expenses of a personal nature, etc.

Permanent programs:

The detailed programs and / or services are permanent. They start any day of the week regardless of the number of passengers. The tourist package can be organized according to the client’s choice.
Specialized tourist guides:
All contracted services include the assistance of multilingual professional guides.
Types and categories of accommodation:
For all programs with two or more days of duration, the rooms will be distributed in accordance with the number of passengers and as requested by clients in individual cases. The groups will be accommodated in the best possible way. When 2 or 3 passengers with individual vouchers choose shared rooms, this will be done on the basis of double or triple rooms. In the service voucher the types of rooms required must be described.
Hotel departure time:
Hotel stays are from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival to 12:00 p.m. on the second day. The client must pay directly in the event that their entry is before or after the stipulated time even in the case of night flights or delayed. This schedule may vary, please consult it.


All reservations must be made with the code corresponding to each of the services or programs.


All ground services must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance, in the case of programs with accommodation, confirmation will depend on the availability of hotels and inns at the time of reservation.
If they are hotels or inns not detailed in our rates, please check if they require prepayment and cancellation policies.
Galápagos and the Jungle; We recommend making your reservation at least 3-6 months in advance and 6 months to 1 year for high seasons. The corresponding list of passengers must be sent by the selling agency via e-mail or fax at least 8 days before the arrival of the passengers. Failure to have the passenger list may result in the cancellation of the corresponding services, in this case the cancellation responsibility must be assumed by the selling Agency.


A deposit of USD 150 per person is required to guarantee any reservation.
Full payment must be made at least 60 days before the cruise date and must be accompanied by the full names, passport numbers and nationality of all passengers; Flight information and contact hotels in Ecuador.
The form of payment for cruises to the Galapagos Islands are these individuals, groups or charter, each boat has its own policy of deposits and total payments so we suggest consulting the corresponding information
C) SERVICE VOUCHERS Service vouchers can only be issued when the required services have been confirmed. They must be clearly filled out in accordance with the stipulated rates. Any difference in rates according to the services specified in the vouchers will be charged to the account of the Agency that prepared them.

Children under 2 years accompanied by their parents or adults do not have charges in services or hotels. With respect to children from 2 to 11 years old, there is a 50% discount on programs of the service offer, in the case of accommodation, the policies of the selected hotel should be consulted.

Cancellations and Refunds:

Cancellations will be processed only with the passenger’s written request accompanied by a photocopy of the passport and in the case of the Selling Agency with a stamp, the signature of the legal representative and a photocopy of the passport of the passenger or passengers requesting the cancellation.

  • A) LAND SERVICES Individual reservations that are canceled 5 days in advance will have a penalty of 10% of the total services, if the cancellation is made less than 5 days before the date of the services, there will be a 100% penalty. In reference to groups, if the cancellation is made within the fifteen days prior to the date of the services, the charge will be 100%.
  • B) JUNGLE AND GALAPAGOS PROGRAMS It depends on each of the operators, both the boats and the jungle operators. (Review information on the corresponding program.)

Requests for reimbursement of services not taken should be sent to CARIBE VIAJES CIA. LTDA in a maximum of 365 days after the date of preparation of the service order or “voucher”, clearly indicating:
1.-The voucher number:
2.-Client’s name with copy of passport.
3.-Hotel name or service code.
4. Places where they had to be operated.
5.-Reason for their cancellation; and signature and stamp of the requesting agency.
After the respective procedures and reimbursement approval by the respective service providers, CARIBE VIAJES CIA LTDA. You will make the respective credit to your Agency within 60 days.


CARIBE VIAJES CIA LTDA, explicitly declares that it is only an intermediary between the passenger and the different service providers according to the specified programs, for example, transport companies, hotels, restaurants, etc. For this reason CARIBE VIAJES CIA. LTDA will not take responsibility when one or more programs or services cannot be carried out or terminated for reasons beyond our control such as strikes, floods, storms or any other type of general emergency. The company is not responsible for injuries or damages that any passenger may suffer from energy crises, be it national or international, as well as problems with transportation such as trains, buses, ships, motor vehicles or any other type that is used. for passenger transportation.
